To gain a deeper understanding of issues that may persist, you might have visited a number of health professionals. We can help give you insight into what is happening and what can help. At See Hear Speak we provide specialised assessments for:

  • Behavioural and emotional issues

  • Autism

  • Learning delays
  • Cognitive ability
  • Trauma and attachment

We commonly see most children or young people because they struggle with the big emotions - anger, anxiety or mood. There is often a strong link between behaviour and emotion. We use evidence-based strategies and our practical experience to help you find better ways to cope and manage in tough situations with tough feelings. We regularly support individuals and families in areas such as:

  • Anger

  • Anxiety

  • Mood problems
  • Family restoration
  • Relationship conflict/breakdown
  • Unresolved trauma and loss
  • Attention and concentration difficulties
  • Bullying
  • Parenting skills
  • Behaviour management skills and strategies
  • Sleep

We recognise some skills and knowledge are more easily acquired being “taught” then “caught.” We can offer workshops tailored to your needs.
At times during the year we will run Emotion Coaching and Magic 1 2 3. This is an excellent workshop aimed to help parents with children aged from 2-12 years. The course provides an overview of child development and combines this with concrete skills and strategies to manage difficult behaviour. It also gives know how on when to use praise and rewards effectively. This workshop is suitable for parents, foster carers or other caregivers.
